Expression pattern of epithelial markers (pan-keratin and E-cadherin) and mesenchymal markers (α-SMA and vimentin) in both early (at passage number 17 in MDA8788-6 and at passage number 15 in MDA8788-7) and late passage (at passage number 40) in the SNUC cells was analyzed by Western blotting. Both early and late passage of SNUC cells expressed only the epithelial markers and did not expressed mesenchymal markers.
