Abstract
- Este artigo apresenta um estudo etnográfico da formação médica numa escola do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, com atenção especial para o uso das imagens no ensino. Isto revelou as formas de inculcação das disposições práticas que orientam a prática profissional no campo médico. O estudo mostrou que as práticas acadêmicas continuam a reproduzir as relações estruturantes do campo médi co, sem que os agentes envolvidos possam ter um controle cons ciente desse processo, seja em termos de transformá-lo ou de torná-lo mais eficaz. This paper presents an ethnographic study of medical formation in a school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with special attention to the use of images in teaching. This showed how practical dispositions that guide practice in the medical field are ingrained into the students. The study demonstrated that academic practices still reproduce the structuring relationships of the medical field, while the involved agents cannot have a conscious control of this process, whether for transforming it or making it more effective. Cet article présent un étude etnographique sur la formation médicale dans une école à Rio de Janeiro, Brésil, centré surtout sur l'usage des images pour l' enseignement. On a revelé les modéles d'inculcation des dispositifs pratiques à orienter le travail professionel au champs médical. L' étude a demontré la reproduction des rapports structurels du champs médical par les pratiques académiques, d'une façon telle que les agents y engagés ne sont pas capables d' y prendre conscience, soit pour les transformer, soit pour les tourner plus efficaces.
