Abstract

Genus Megasyringophilus Fain, Bochkov and Mironov, 2000 Megasyringophilus Fain et al., 2000: 35. Type-species: Megasyringophilus kethleyi Fain, Bochkov and Mironov, 2000, by original designation. Representatives of this genus are associated with birds of the orders Psittaciformes, Accipitriformes, and Strigiformes (Fain et al. 2000; Skoracki et al. 2010, 2016; Zmudzinski et al. 2015).
