Abstract

The present book chapter highlights the potential of Hierarchical Nanostructured 3D Flowerlike BiOX (X=Cl, Br, I) microsphere as a remarkable technology towards the environmental remediation processes of various hazardous and persistent environmental pollutants. The work has emphasized the selected case studies on three-dimensional flowers like structures of Bismuth oxyhalides exclusively. The chapter also summarizes the selective synthesis and characterization domains of bismuth oxyhalides nanomaterials to better understand their assemblies and structures along with specific applications. A significant inside in the key challenges and future prospects associated with this technology has been also included in this chapter. &nbsp
