Note also that the species is considered conspecific with either Tuoba laticeps (Pocock, 1891) (Crabill 1962, 1968a; Jones 1998) or Tuoba sydneyensis (Pocock, 1891) (Crabill 1968a; Jones 1998). Collection remarks. The specimens were collected by Wilhelm Michaelsen during his expedition to Western Australia 1905. The specimens from Denham (station 65) were apparently collected in some distance from the seashore in a stadium ��� Im Stadion am Strd. ���. Taxonomic remarks. Crabill (1968b) synonymized the type series with both Tubuoa laticeps (Pocock, 1891) and T. sydneyensis (Pocock, 1891) (���= laticeps, q.v., part., and sydneyensis q.v., part. New Synonymies and Combinations���). Jones (1998) followed Crabill in his review of Tubuoa. The species is listed as valid by Bonato et al. (2016) but falls into the synonymy of T. laticeps.
