Abstract
- The exponential stability of singularly perturbed time-varying systems is investigated. It turns out that, under natural conditions, exponential stability of an averaged system is equivalent to exponential stability of the perturbed system for small perturbation parameters. Explicit estimates for both, the approximation of single trajectories and the order of the exponential decay, are obtained. The method of proof does not require smoothness of the averaged system.
