Abstract

Relationship between cAMP measurements and morphine mouse administration, and in vitro morphine-spiked plasma concentration. Data was analysed with GraphPad Prism software (v. 7.00). A) Mice were treated with saline or morphine (1 or 10 mg/kg) and plasma samples were collected 10 min after intraperitoneal injection. cAMP production was determined by the AlphascreenTM assay. Graph shows morphine doses and cAMP production, for n=27 mice. B) 0.5 μL mouse plasma were spiked with indicated concentrations of morphine, and cAMP production by HEK-MOP cells was determined by the AlphascreenTM assay. Scatter plot shows in vitro morphine concentrations and cAMP production.
