Abstract: We report a case of agenesis of the trachea type III of Floyd that survived for 2 days with an esophageal intubation. Surgical treatment consisted of a distal esophageal binding, cervical esophagostomy in double-barrelled shotgun, and gastrostomy. Death occurred on the third day after surgery.
