Abstract
- Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the leading cause of death for adults in the United States. Cholesterol is a major risk factor for CHD, and studies have shown that reducing cholesterol improves CHD risk. This article describes the epidemiology of lipid disorders in men, describes assessment methods, and lists current and future treatment options.
