Abstract
- To our knowledge, this is the first description of the computed tomographic appearance of a displaced right upper lobe bronchus. The case reported is that of a 43 year-old woman who had known congenital heart disease and systemic hypertension. The computed tomographic study demonstrated a displaced right upper lobe bronchus; a persistent left superior vena cava; pulmonary hypertension with associated dilatation of the right chambers of the heart consistent with a longstanding left to right shunt; and subsequent development of pulmonary hypertension.
