Abstract
- International audience; This paper presents the design of a compact parasitic superdirective array based on a wideband small antenna as a unit element. The unit element is internally loaded with inductive loads to have an optimized impedance bandwidth. Using a wideband antenna as a unit element in the array, ensures high directivity and radiation efficiency even at close distances. The final array design exhibits a maximal directivity of 7.5dBi at 880MHz with 94% radiation efficiency and 5.6% directivity bandwidth.
