Abstract
- Gunabopicobia zumpti (Lawrence, 1959) (Figs. 20 H, I) Syringophilus zumpti Lawrence, 1959: 425, fig. 5. Types deposited in NMSA, not examined. Picobia zumpti, Kethley 1970: 65, fig. 37; Skoracki & Dabert 2002: 144; Skoracki et al. 2004: 171; Bochkov et al. 2005: 122, figs.1–3. Neopicobia zumpti, Skoracki 2011: 384. Gunabopicobia zumpti, Skoracki & Hromada 2013: 197, fig. 3. Type host: Streptopelia capicola (Sundevall) (Columbiformes: Columbidae). Type locality: South Africa. Additional material. One female (PF) and 1 male from Columba livia (Columbiformes: Columbidae), POLAND: Wielkopolskie, Poznan, 21 December 2010, coll. T. Tymcio, all material in AMU; 1 female (NPF) from same host species, USA: Massachusetts, Suffolk Co., Boston, 1969, coll. N. S. Brown, specimen in AMU; 2 females (PF) and 1 male from Zenaida macroura (Linnaeus) (Columbidae), USA: Georgia, Hall Co., Gainesville, February 1970, coll. J. B. Kethley, all material in FMNH. Host range and distribution.
