Abstract
- The diagnostic use of electron microscopy has greatly diminished since the advent of sophisticated immunohistochemistry, which is faster and cheaper. In several skin diseases, however, electron microscopy is still the test of choice. This article presents a discussion of some of the diseases diagnosed through the use of electron microscopy.
