Abstract
- Phortica (Phortica) orientalis (Hendel, 1914) (Figs. 6A, 6B, 23) Amiota orientalis Hendel, 1914: 116. Amiota (Phortica) antheria Okada, 1977: 20. Amiota (Phortica) orientalis: Okada 1971: 91 (misidentified); Okada 1977: 19 (misidentified). Diagnosis. This species is similar to P. ryukyuensis Chen in Chen & Máca 2012 in the characters of paramere and aedeagus, but can be distinguished from the latter by having two characters of the vertical process of gonopod (Fig. 23D): submedian branches (b) of anterior tripartite processes much longer than apical branches (a); base (c) of posterior saccate processes distinctly thinned and stalk-like; in P. ryukyuensis (as fig. 31 in Chen & Máca 2012): apical branches (a) of anterior tripartite processes slightly longer than submedian branches (b); base (c) of posterior saccate processes distinctly broadened.
