Abstract

Anguina calamagrostis n. sp., found infesting bluejoint grass, Calamagrostis canadensis (Michx.) Nutt., from Canada is described. The name "crustaformeria" is proposed for the region of the reproductive system immediately behind the spermatheca and where the egg shell is formed. The generic characters for the genera Anguina and Ditylenchus are emended, based on the difference in the morphology of the crustaformeria.
