Abstract
- Species. T. guazu Lent, Jurberg and Galv��o Etymology. Its provenance is stated as its country of origin (Paraguay). Since it is one of the largest representatives of the Triatoma genus, it was given the species name guazu, meaning ���large��� in the Guarani language (Lent, Jurberg & Galv��o 1996: 313). Original citation. ���Da proveni��ncia constava o pa��s de origem (Paraguai).
