Folsomia candida (Willem, 1902) – Isotoma candida Willem, 1902b: 280. CE, TE, EA: Cox 1982; MAZ: Yahyapour 2012; Yoosefi Lafooraki et al. 2020b; GO: Yoosefi Lafooraki et al. 2020b; GI: Cox 1982; Yoosefi Lafooraki et al. 2020b; KU: Ahmadi et al. 2023. Ecology and habitat in Iran: soil and leaf litter. Remarks: Cox (1982) reported this species as Folsomia litsteri Bagnall, 1939 that is considered as a junior synonym of F. candida. General distribution: cosmopolitan (Potapov 2001; Fjellberg 2007).
