Abstract

Campodea (Campodea) fragilis Meinert, 1865 Material studied. Prebaetic Mountains: Xal�� river; 1 ♂; alluvial MSS, 2 SSD, 8 III 2012; 1 specimen, sex unknown, alluvial MSS, 2SSD, VII 2012. GIBSES leg. Habitat and distribution. This is perhaps the most widespread species of dipluran occurring in much of the Holarctic region. It is an epiedaphic species frequently found near the water table, rivers or lakes.
