Abstract
- We report the case of a 43-year-old woman who suffered repeated subarachnoid haemorrhages secondary to spontaneous intracranial vertebral artery dissection. The bleeding point was a saccular false aneurysm of the left vertebral artery. The saccular extension was located just distal to the origin of the posterior inferior cerebellar artery and was treated by clip occlusion of the neck. The case and condition are discussed.
