Abstract
- Aim This study aimed to determine the distributions of serum zinc levels and the prevalence of zinc deficiency in patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) in actual clinical practice, and to analyze the association between serum zinc levels and clinical characteristics. Methods This study analyzed 1973 patients with CLD, including 749 with liver cirrhosis, who were admitted to Sapporo Kosei General Hospital in 2017.
