Abstract

In 118 nations between 1960 and2016, our analysis revealed that, over the long term, higher temperatures are correlated with higher rates of urbanization. This correlation is significantly more pronounced than any short-term linkage. Evidence of urban sprawl or shrinking indicates an increase in the built-up area, which leads to environmental degradation in the urban region.<br />{"references":["1.\tMarc Helbling & Daniel Meirrieks Global Warming and Urbanization; 23rd August 2022","2.\tSuman Patra, Satiprasad Sahoo, Pulak Mishra, Subhash Chandra Mahapatra; Impacts of Urbanization on Land use/ Cover Changes and its Probable implications on Local climate and Groundwater Level; 2018","3.\tRanran liu, Xiaobin Dong, study on the relationship among the urbanization process: 2021","4.\tRai S.
