Abstract
- Graphical abstract Image 1<br />Highlights • Supramolecular hydrogel was facilely developed by self-assembly of NO prodrug conjugated hydrogelator sequence. • The locoregionally sustained NO release from the hydrogel could be triggered by intracellular over-expressed GSH/GST. • NO could effectively reverse the P-gp mediated MDR effect and facilitate the intracellular accumulation of DOX. • This type of stimuli-sensitive NO delivery platform holds great potential for combating drug-resistance cancer.
