Abstract
- We read with interest the recent study published in Pharmacotherapy evaluating morphine dosing to treat neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS).1 The authors attempted to address an important research question in a disease state which is a widespread problem with many unknowns related to its management.2-4 In order to address these unknowns, future research of NAS should include the following key considerations.
