Abstract
- The complexity and global scope of cardiovascular disease have reached unparalleled heights. No sooner do we achieve success in treating and managing some forms of cardiovascular disease than new ones such as metabolic stress-induced pathologic remodeling emerge with alarming incidence and severity. To address these evolving challenges head on, a multidisciplinary strategy is required. Physicians and surgeons, scientists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and pharmacists are working together around the world to prevent disease or, when present, to slow, halt, and even reverse its progression. It is the aspiration, indeed firm commitment, of the Circulation editorial team to foster this progress across the full spectrum of cardiovascular professional activities. We will work hard to …
