Abstract
- The biparietal diameter of the fetal head was measured by means of ultrasound in pregnancies complicated by diabetes mellitus. There were no differences in biparietal diameter between the fetuses of diabetic mothers and normal fetuses from the thirtieth through the thirty-seventh weeks. After this time, the measurements in diabetic pregnancy were significantly larger than those in normal pregnancy. No significant differences were observed among patients in diabetic Classes A, B, C, and D.
