Abstract

Pleurodeles waltl Michahelles, 1830 Michahelles, 1830. Isis v. Oken, 1830: 195. Lectotype: RMNH 2379, 1 ad. Ψ. Loc.: Espagne. Leg.: C.W. Michahelles. Remarks. The lectotype was designated by Hoogmoed (1978: 103). The type locality given by Micha- helles (1830: 191) is “Chiclana in Südspanien” and “ Hispania meridionali” (column 195), restricted to “Chiclana, southern Spain ” by Hoogmoed (1978: 103).
