Tribe Petrognathini Blanchard, 1845 Diagnosis (modified from Ohbayashi & Lin 2012). Antennal scape without cicatrix or granules at apex; mandible neither elongate nor longitudinally grooved; eyes emarginate; pronotum provided with lateral spines; mesocoxal cavity open to epimeron; metepisternum not distinctly widened; legs stout; mesotibiae with an external sinus; tarsal claws simple and divaricate.
