Expression of cytochrome P450IA in breast cancer

In this study we have investigated the expression of a major family of cytochrome P450, cytochrome P450IA, in human breast carcinoma. Two closely related subfamilies (or forms) of cytochrome P450IA, cytochrome P450IA1 and cytochrome P450IA2 have been identified in rat and similar forms occur in man (Ioannides & Parke, 1990).
