Abstract

Doliolina muelleri Morphology Body length is about 4 mm. Gonozooid is small, with a U-shaped intestine. Gill slits are small, attaching ventrally and dorsally at MV; and slightly curved backwards reaching MVI. Spherical testis lies in a ventral pocket, slightly extruding from the body between MV and MVI. The frontal end of the endostyle is situated between MII and MIII; the caudal end is just situated in front of M5. The dorsal nerve ganglion is located between MIII and MIV (authors’ personal observations (Marine Species Identification Portal 2017).
