- Summary Ethnographic data are presented on the use of a seed, haba de San Ignacio ( Hura polyandra L. and Hura crepitans L.) to promote an aversion to the consumption of alcohol by problem drinkers in Mexican American and Mexican national populations on the United States-Mexico border.
