Abstract
- The Nyquist constraint for regular sampling of multiband signals is that the sampling rate must fall in an "allowed band". For random sampling, the sampling rate only has to exceed the Nyquist-Landau rate (information rate), which is a simpler constraint. We demonstrate this flexibility in a simulation of a communication channel.
