Abstract
- Picobia dryobatis (Fritsch, 1958) (Figs. 48 G–I) Syringophilus dryobatis Fritsch, 1958: 242, fig. 10. Type material is lost (in Kethley: 65). Material from type host species from Poland, examined. Picobia dryobatis, Kethley 1970: 65; Skoracki 2011: 334, figs. 245–247; Skoracki et al. 2014a: 72; 2014b: 108. Type host: Dendrocopos major Linnaeus (Piciformes: Picidae). Type locality: Germany. Additional material. Three females (PF) and 2 males from Dendrocopos macei (Vieillot) (Piciformes: Picidae), INDIA: Uttarakhand, Naghar, 26 March 1966, coll. unknown, all material in AMU; 2 females (PF) and 1 male from Dendrocopos syriacus (Hemprich and Ehrenberg) (Picidae), IRAN: near Teheran, 7 March 1958, coll. S. H. J.
