Abstract
- Aim: To evaluate the clinical value of plasma D-dimer/fibrinogen ratio (DFR) in patients hospitalized for heart failure (HF). Methods: Clinical data of 235 patients were retrospectively analyzed. Kaplan–Meier method and Cox regression analysis were used to identify significant prognosticators. Results: The Kaplan–Meier analysis showed that a higher DFR level was significantly associated with an increase in the end point outcomes, including HF readmission, thrombotic events and death (log-rank test: p
