Abstract

The wealth of genomic information available today to researcher and clinician has dramatically changed the way some diseases are defined. At the same time leveraging this information is a major challenge in part because previously established concepts and tools used for research and development need are largely inadequate. Using the example of cancer genomics this Translation focuses on systems biology approaches to inform the development of personalized medicine.
