Abstract

This dataset can be used to reproduce the results in the paper entitled “Exploring photon-counting laser altimeter ICESat-2 in retrieving LAI and correcting clumping effect.” By Guoet al. LAI derived from ICESat-2: Leaf Area Index (LAI) derived from ICESat-2 ATL03 data with a segment of 200 m. Validation data: The 5-m resolution grid LAIs come from Hu et al., 2018, which were derived from airborne LiDAR data and had been validated by the field measurements.
