Abstract

Intramolecular cyclization of 1-allyl- and 1-methallyl-6-amino-2-thiouracils afforded 5-amino-2,3-dihydrothiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidin-4-ones, whose structures were proved by chemical transformations.
