Pressure (left) and velocity contours (right) combined with the iso-lines of gas volume fraction of 0.5 (gas-liquid interface is denoted by dash line) and tissue volume fraction of 0.5 (gas-tissue interface is denoted by solid line) at 4 instances during the penetration of the liquid jet into the soft tissue are shown.
