Cadmium, selenium, and mercury concentrations were measured in muscle and liver of juvenile blue (Prionace glauca) and smooth hammerhead (Sphyrna zygaena) sharks caught on the west coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico, to evaluate the human health risk associated with its consumption.
