Abstract

Genus Microhypsibius Thulin, 1928 DIAGNOSIS. ��� Same as for the family Microhypsibiidae. ETYMOLOGY (NOT PROVIDED IN THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION). ��� The name was most likely chosen to underline the minute size of the family members. COMPOSITION. ��� Microhypsibius bertolanii Kristensen, 1982, M. japonicus Ito, 1991, M. minimus Kristensen, 1982, M. truncatus Thulin, 1928 (type species).
