Genus Microhypsibius Thulin, 1928 DIAGNOSIS. ��� Same as for the family Microhypsibiidae. ETYMOLOGY (NOT PROVIDED IN THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION). ��� The name was most likely chosen to underline the minute size of the family members. COMPOSITION. ��� Microhypsibius bertolanii Kristensen, 1982, M. japonicus Ito, 1991, M. minimus Kristensen, 1982, M. truncatus Thulin, 1928 (type species). REMARKS See Kristensen (1982) for the most current depiction of the genus Microhypsibius.
