Abstract
- Sarcoma 180 and Ehrlich carcinoma maintained in the ascitic form were transplanted subcutaneously, intraperitoneally and intracerebrally. The same tumor transplanted in different sites showed a different sensitivity to the same chemotherapeutic agent. Cyclophosphamide and sarcolysin were active on subcutaneous and intraperitoneal, but not on the intracerebral tumors. On the other hand, I-methylnitrosourea was effective only on the tumors transplanted intracerebrally.
