Abstract

High-throughput sequencing is increasingly favoured to assay the presence and abundance of micro RNAs (miRNAs) in biological samples, even from low RNA amounts, and a number of commercial vendors now offer kits that allow miRNA sequencing from sub-nanogram (ng) inputs.
