Abstract

Supplementary Figures 1-9 - Germline mutation of Brca1 transforms p18-deficient luminal tumors into basal-like tumors with induction of EMT (Suppl. Fig. 1); Germline mutation of Brca1 activates EMT-TFs in mammary and tumor development (Suppl. Fig. 2); Specific deletion of Brca1 in mammary epithelia impairs luminal differentiation (Suppl. Fig. 3); Haploid loss of Brca1 in mammary epithelium inhibits the expression of luminal genes but stimulates the expression of basal genes and EMT-TFs in p18 deficient LSCs (Suppl. Fig. 4); Ck5 and Ck8 double positive epithelial cells are frequently detected in p18-/-;Brca1f/-;MC mammary glands (Suppl. Fig. 5); Characterization of human breast cancer cell lines (Suppl. Fig. 6); BRCA1 inhibits the expression of TWIST and FOXC2 in 293T cells (Suppl. Fig. 7); Knockdown of BRCA1 in T47D cells activates EMT (Suppl. Fig. 8); BRCA1 and TWIST mRNA levels are inversely correlated in human claudin-low type breast cancers (Suppl. Fig. 9).
