Amphisbetia operculata

Amphisbetia operculata (Linnaeus, 1758) Material examined: BBB 2016: St. 9; St. 12; St. 13; St. 27; St. 32; St. 33; St. 35. GARCÍA 2015: St. 14. (Fig. 2F) Distribution: Cosmopolitan. The species is widely reported in all southwestern Atlantic Ocean, from intertidal to 400 m depth (Blanco 1963 as Sertularia operculata; Oliveira et al. 2016; Genzano et al. 2017). Remarks: Big and mature clumps were found in all analyzed sites.
