Preparation of graphene

The procedures for preparing graphene and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) are reviewed in detail by classifying chemical vapor deposition, cleavage, and chemical synthesis for highly crystalline layers of graphene, and exfoliation and reduction via graphene oxide for highly defective layers of rGO. Formations in different morphologies (foams, ribbons, and horns) and doping of foreign atoms are also presented.
