Two Neoflavones from Aconitum Austroyunnanense and their Therapeutic Activity Against Osteoarthritis of the Knee

In this study, we isolated two new neoflavones from Aconitum austroyunnanense and examined their therapeutic activity against osteoarthritis of the knee. All the tested compounds displayed good anti-inflammatory activity and significantly therapeutic activity against osteoarthritis of rats using surgically induced rat OA models. Compound 1 has the best therapeutic activity and appears to be a promising candidate for further development.
