Abstract
- A method for the analysis of high-speed hysteresis micromotor by using a magnetostatic field solution and Piece-Wise-Linear (PWL) model of scalar static hysteresis is presented. The solution of the magnetic field in the active layer of the hysteresis motor is performed by a two steps approach: nonlinear on the whole motor domain and hysteretic on the rotor one, the two solutions are coupled by boundary conditions. The main aim of the work is to evaluate the effect of the hysteresis of the hard magnetic material (Vicalloy 52KF7) on the magnetic field distribution, on the hysteresis losses and to provide comparison with experiments.
