Abstract
- Hypertension is a priority disease for public health since its being one of the significant cause of cardiovascular conditions and one of the important reasons of mortality. In the existence of hypertension, individual life factors such as cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, sedantery life style and obesity play a serious role. Nurses -who are on duty of encouragement to people for accomplishment of healthy life style act in association with education, consultation, guidance- are valuable member of health service in order to protect and develop and maintain the health of individuals. They may also have the role especially on the awareness of hypertension and development of healthy life style for individuals.
