Physical and Virtual Mobility Analogies Between Traffic and Virtual Highways

It was a normal day in April, in the late morning hours. Traffic was fluid on the two-lane freeway A1 between Hamburg and Bremen. The sky was partly cloudy, and no rain had been predicted for the next two days, perfect conditions for the drivers in both directions. The traffic surveyors in the helicopter far above contentedly took a sip of their hot coffee and turned their attention to the big swamp areas at both sides of the road.
