Abstract
- A paramagnetic compound, [Co2(p-bdc)4(dfdp)4)]n (p-bdc = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid, dfdp = 4,4′-(2,5-difluoro-1,4-phenylene)dipyridine), has been solvothermally synthesized and fully characterized. The compound displays a 3D twofold interpenetrating framework with pcu nets with point symbol {412·63}. Thermogravimetric analysis indicates the compound has good thermal stability in solid states. The UV–Vis spectrum demonstrates that the compound has two absorption peaks at 320 and 470 nm. Magnetic investigation shows that the compound exhibits regular Curie behavior.
