Abstract
- Recently in Joule, Preger et al. reported the development of a hydroquinone-based redox mediator in an acidic H2-O2 fuel cell. It facilitates O2 reduction in a catalyzed packed-bed reactor, enabling a maximum power density > 100 mW/cm2 and several hours of stable operation.
